What is the difference between Lite and Signature Standing desks?

Signature Dual Motor Standing Desk:
Our Signature frame is engineered with a motor in each leg, offering exceptional robustness and weight-bearing capacity. Furthermore, it provides an adjustable width range from 1200 to 1800mm, ensuring future adaptability without the need for a new frame if you decide to move house or office in the future. With 3 telescopic stages and 4 memory settings, the Signature Standing Desk leg offers all you could want!

Lite Standing Desk:
In contrast, our Lite standing desk features a single motor frame, with only one leg housing the motor, which elevates the other leg through a central rod. This frame allows for width adjustment from 1200mm to 1500mm. The legs boast two telescopic stages and offers 2 memory settings.

Both options share the same tops.

What are standing desks?

Standing desks are desks that are designed to be used while standing. The standing desks by Deskbird are adjustable and electronically powered by dual motors that allow you to work at the height that suits you - whether you want to sit or stand.

What is the minimum and maximum height of your standing desks?

For the signature standing desk frame: Minimum height is 60cm and maximum height is 125cm.

With the desk top this increases by 2.5cm. Minimum height is 62.5cm and maximum height is 127.5cm.

For our lite frame, the lowest height is 72cm and highest height is 120cm.

How long does it take to ship my standing desk?

It takes 1-9 business days depending on where you are located in New Zealand. Our desks are well built and are very heavy hence we have partnered up with many carriers to deliver these standing desks to you safely and carefully. Please note that during public holidays and the Christmas/New Years period the shipping times may be delayed due to reduced business days.

How much does shipping cost?

All of our standing desks are shipped to standard addresses at no charge. Rural address will incur an extra charge, but we can ship it to the nearest Mainfreight depot free of charge.

How long will my standing desk take to assemble?

Everyone is different when it comes to assembling the standing desk, but we would allow 45 minutes to an hour to assemble the standing desk. We recommend assembling the standing desk with another adult as it is quite heavy.

Do the standing desks come with cable management?

Yes, all of our standing desks come with a cable management for the desks' cables. If you require one for a power board, then it will need to be purchased separately.

The colour of the cable management tray will be the same as the colour of the frame that you have selected for your standing desk.

Do the standing desks come pre-drilled?

Yes, all of our standing desks come pre-drilled to allow our customers to assemble the standing desk easily with an Allen key (provided) and a Phillips screwdriver.

Do you do bulk and commercial orders?

Yes, absolutely. We do bulk and wholesale orders for our standing desks. Please contact us directly in the contacts tab and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes, all of our standing desks come with NZ Warranty of 10 years. Our standing desks are built to last. This excludes any damage caused by the owner, and general wear and tear.

Can I change my order?

If you decide to change the colour of your frame or the desk top of your standing desk, please contact us as soon as possible so we can change it for you, provided that it has not been shipped.

My standing desk arrived damaged, what should I do?

If your standing desk has been damaged during transit, please do contact us and we will provide any replacement parts required. We work with a number of carriers to ensure your standing desks are delivered and handled carefully.

I am having trouble assembling my standing desk, where can I get help?

We have an assembly video available for our customers. Please view the video when as it will be very helpful when assembling the desk. Feel free to email us if you have trouble assembling your standing desk. We will be more than happy to help.

Where are you based in New Zealand?

Our team is based in both Wellington and Auckland. We hope to expand around NZ soon to showcase our ergonomic goods.

Are your products stored in New Zealand?

Yes, all our our products are stored in NZ. This allows our customers in NZ to get their products fast and secure.
